However, I was never provided with any recommendations or information on how to eliminate these breakouts since psoriasis is considered incurable.
As I grew older, my options seemed limited to medication or light therapy. Both choices made me apprehensive and fearful. The notion of light therapy altering my DNA, a well-known risk factor for cancer, deterred me. Additionally, medications often led to further complications and proved to be quite expensive. I was determined to find a more reasonable explanation for the development of my autoimmune disease.
Throughout my high school years, I delved into various nutrition books, seeking answers. Through extensive trial and error, I gradually began to comprehend the intricate relationship between the body, food, and autoimmune diseases. Eventually, I discovered what worked best for me and my unique physiology, enabling me to effectively manage my psoriasis outbreaks.
This transformative journey ignited a deep passion within me to assist others facing similar challenges. Motivated by my own experience, I joined the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and obtained my international certification as a health coach. Before this pivotal time, I found myself carrying excess weight and harboring a negative mindset towards food. I was trapped in a constant cycle of longing for a better physique and more energy, yet I indulged in regular servings of dairy ice cream every day after school. My diet primarily consisted of processed and uncooked foods, lacking the nourishment my body truly needed. Standing at 5 feet tall, I had gained over 30 pounds of unwanted fat, weighing in at my heaviest at 130 pounds.
Realizing that a change was necessary, I embarked on a quest to embrace whole foods and explore various diets. Around the same time, as I was uncovering the underlying issues of my autoimmune condition, I managed to shed 30 pounds of fat, reaching a weight of 97 pounds just in time for prom. Recognizing that this weight was dangerously low, I made a decision to join the gym consistently after graduation.
Determined to find the ideal approach, I ventured into different fitness classes and activities. It was during this exploration that I discovered the perfect fit for me – weight training. Through dedicated efforts, I have since regained over 20 pounds, this time in the form of lean muscle mass. This transformation has not only reshaped my physical appearance but has also empowered me with a newfound confidence and strength.

I recently made a life-changing decision to leave the comfort of my parents' house and relocate to Georgiato be with my long-distance boyfriend. While I generally embrace change, the transition to an entirely different state and culture presented unexpected obstacles. One significant challenge was adapting to the local food and atmosphere. Establishing a new routine that mirrored my familiar one back home proved to be a struggle, as I sought consistency and comfort in my daily life.
Unfortunately, I found myself losing progress at the gym and experiencing tighter financial circumstances. Moving meant leaving behind the security I had enjoyed at home, and aspects of my life became disoriented despite being in a comfortable environment. I had to relearn which gym would best suit my needs, rediscover consistency, manage my finances from scratch, maintain my dietary choices, reconnect with my body's signals, and reestablish a sense of balance among my relationship, business endeavors, personal life, and part-time job at the time. This required making difficult sacrifices and readjusting my sleep patterns.

Growing up on Long Island, New York, motorcycles have been an integral part of my life since childhood. I have vivid memories of my father allowing me to ride his pocket bike, sparking a deep-rooted desire to have my own motorcycle in the future. When the time came, my parents surprised me with a scooter, and I spent endless hours exploring the world on that two-wheeled adventure companion.
At 20, I took a significant step forward and purchased a CBR300 as my first motorcycle. Throughout the seasons of spring, summer, and even winter, I embraced the exhilaration of riding, including a memorable snowy commute from work. A year later, the allure of an upgrade beckoned, and I set my sights on the coveted Daytona 675R. My quest led me to diligently search for a pristine model, which finally culminated in finding one at a dealership in Westchester, NY. Filled with excitement, I embarked on a journey to see it in person, and it was love at first sight.
Upon my relocation to Georgia, I decided to take my passion for motorcycles to the next level. Equipped with my own racing suit, I am currently exploring the realm of track days, with my knowledgeable boyfriend as my guide, showing me the ropes. This exhilarating facet of my life exists alongside my career as a health coach.

Regularly, I carve out time each week to visit a café, whether for work or to delve deeper into the realms of nutrition and business. Once a year, I eagerly anticipate attending the renowned PAX East convention, an exciting gathering that unveils upcoming games.
In 2023, I made a significant life decision to move in with my boyfriend to Georgia. The experience of transitioning to an entirely different state and immersing myself in the unique southern culture has been eye-opening.
